Some Helpful Canva Tips

t’s all about colour!

The colours you use are key to making a great design, and when it comes to colour, Canva’s here to help. Their colour generating tool is such a helpful resource for any and all of your projects. All you have to do is upload a picture, and Canva generates a usable palette that goes well with the hues of the picture. Don’t forget to save these colour swatches into your brand kit! Canva can also be a great source to learn more about colour. They have resources to learn more about the colour meaning and colour theory with some of their interactive tools.

Working with Frames

Canva provides lots of frame options! And they are super easy to use. Experiment with different framing options and see how this can really enhance a design.

Sometimes when you are working on a piece, you might find that the design is lacking some cohesion. One thing I found to be really helpful is to add a colour shape in the background and play with the transparency levels to make it more cohesive. This can be super helpful when you are trying to stick with a certain colour, but the image is not looking quite right!

Alright, boss babes, it’s time to step up your designs and get started on your Canva game!
